I was attracted with this song for the first time when I was in the car driving in a very heavy traffic jam. However, the traditional Malay melody which has been modernised a bit had captured my heart ever since and made me became energetic again after having such a long que on the highway.

Hi, i just visit your site, i'm from Taiwan. i like this song since about ten years ago (i bought the tape). but i don't know what does "Kurik Kundi" mean (in English) these years. i have no idea to find out such a difficult vocabulary, even i have looked up several dictionaries and many many websites. so do you know how to explain the "Kurik Kundi"? thank you very much...

For your information, "kurik-kundi" is one of our Malay traditional game. In this song it is trying to explain how it is important to withhold our tradition and custom. The song is sang in various local Malaysian dialects too. Hope you would be happy with this explanation. Thanks.
